On January 18, 2025, the Melody Factory – Foundation for Youth and Music, invited 100 families to an unforgettable family concert at KKL Luzern. This special initiative ensured that children and their loved ones could experience the magic of live classical music in an inspiring setting.

The concert featured Camille Saint-Saëns’ Le Carnaval des Animaux (The Carnival of the Animals), a whimsical suite composed in 1886 that humorously portrays various animals through music. Audiences of all ages were enchanted by this beloved classic, brought to life with a stunning animated film by Sandra Albukrek.

Adding to the excitement, Dragon Ludwig, the beloved mascot of the Melody Factory, delighted attendees with his cheerful presence, spreading joy and making the event even more magical.

This initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission to inspire and connect young audiences to classical music through engaging and creative experiences. By combining storytelling, music, and visual art, the Melody Factory continues to foster a lifelong love of music in the next generation.

The event’s success highlighted the community’s enthusiasm for accessible, family-friendly musical experiences.
