Melody Factory, today’s chamber music
Echoes of Colour
St. Charles Hall will be adorned in a symphony of colours, welcoming you and the spring with the enchanting sounds of classical music. Meet the 20 young talents from the Hochschule Luzern – Musik and immerse yourself in a vibrant chamber music spectacle.

The first Impressionist exhibition took place in April 1874 in Paris, unveiling a daring new approach to beauty that changed art forever. Suddenly, color and light leapt off the canvas with a force never seen before, transforming how we perceive the world.
We invite you to experience this spirit on April 25 at St. Charles Hall in Meggen, where we will echo it by painting our concert with luminous musical hues. Poulenc, Debussy, Fauré, and Ravel will grace the spotlight, alongside other timeless masters like Mozart or Brahms.
As always at NOW! concerts, students from HSLU Musik will appear in a variety of ensembles—woodwind quartets, soprano and piano, harp solo, piano four-hands, euphonium and piano, violoncello and guitar, piano and violin, and more.
Joy is in the air: feel free to ask the musicians questions, bring your glass into the hall, and settle in as though you were at home.
Come and join our community of fans of young and inspiring musical talents!

Open doors into classical music
Join us at the beautiful St. Charles Hall for a magical afternoon where your children can explore the world of classical music!
From 3:30 to 5:00 pm, they will follow the “Treasure Hunt for a Melody”—a fun quiz guiding them from station to station, where they’ll talk to talented young musicians, discover facts about each instrument, and gather clues. Whether it’s the rich voice of a cello, the gentle strum of a guitar, the brassy warmth of a euphonium, or the bright blend of our woodwind quintet (oboe, bassoon, flute, clarinet, and horn), each stop offers a playful tip leading them closer to the final answer—be it a composer, a note, or a musical key.
Piano and other instruments will also be on display, with every performer ready to demonstrate how it works, answer questions, and spark your child’s imagination. Come anytime between 3:30 and 5:00 pm, and let your kids embark on this exciting journey toward musical discovery—culminating in a delightful surprise at the end!
Date: April 25th, 2025
