Join us at the beautiful St. Charles Hall for a magical afternoon where your children can explore the world of classical music!
From 15:30 to 17:00, children will follow the “Treasure Hunt for a Melody”—a fun quiz guiding them from station to station, where they’ll talk to talented young musicians, discover facts about each instrument, and gather clues. Whether it’s the rich voice of a cello, the gentle strum of a guitar, the brassy warmth of a euphonium, or the bright blend of our woodwind quintet (oboe, bassoon, flute, clarinet, and horn), each stop offers a playful tip leading them closer to the final answer—be it a composer, a note, or a musical key.
Piano and other instruments will also be on display, with every performer ready to demonstrate how it works, answer questions, and spark your child’s imagination. Come anytime between 3:30 and 5:00 pm, and let your kids embark on this exciting journey toward musical discovery—culminating in a delightful surprise at the end!
