This April 2025, we played for more than 1,000 children and teenagers across Central Switzerland through a series of interactive classical music concerts. From April 7th to 9th, students from schools in Küssnacht am Rigi, Gersau, Vitznau, Merlischachen, and Gymnasium St. Klemens either welcomed us into their schools or traveled by bus to experience the music live.

Violinist Ronny Spiegel and pianist Pavel Pozdyshev performed a captivating and expressive program featuring works by Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Chopin, Grieg, and other classical masters. These pieces were carefully woven into a continuous narrative — each composition becoming part of a story that unfolded through music, emotion, and imagination.

At the heart of this experience was soprano Greta Hartleb from Hochschule Luzern – Musik, who brought the story to life with her voice and presence. She sang for the children and with them, gently guiding them through each scene, creating emotional connections, and opening the door to the world of classical music in a way that felt playful, personal, and deeply engaging.

The dynamic visuals transformed each space into a magical world, while our cheerful mascot, Dragon Ludwig, helped the children connect emotionally with the music and stories on a deeper level.

These concerts are part of Melody Factory’s mission to spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation of classical music in young minds. And we’re not done yet — Weggis and Greppen are waiting for us next week, as the music continues to travel through the heart of Switzerland.
